The Pioneers had a busy and successful winter break!
The Boys Basketball played at the Lion Classic on December 30th. After beating Rushville (78-41) in the first round of the tournament, they played Mt. Vernon in the championship game. After being down most of the game, the Pioneers rallied back in the 4th to take a 2-points lead with less than a minute to go. However, Mt. Vernon came up with a big 3-point shot to beat the Pioneers by 1. It was a great effort to come back in the 4th quarter. This week, the Pioneers will be playing 2 games. On Wednesday, they will host Indianapolis Lighthouse Academy with the JV game starting at 6:00pm. Then on Saturday, they will travel to Franklin for a conference game with JV/9th starting at 6:00pm.
