Friday November 9th the Mooresville Pioneers will visit the Marion Giants in one of four class 4A Regional Championship Games that will be contested this weekend in the State of Indiana.  The Pioneers (11-1) are entering Fridays Regional Championship after capturing their first Sectional Title in 14 years a week prior, defeating the Greenwood Woodmen 49-14.  The Marion Giants (12-0) captured their first Sectional Championship in 28 years last Friday as the Giants defeated the Mississinewa Indians 26-9 to earn their spot in Friday nights Regional Championship.

Friday nights ballgame pits two teams with a combined 2018 record (Includes Tournament) of 23 wins and 1 loss.  Offensively the Pioneers are averaging 400.5 yards in total offense per game,  206 through the air,  and 194.5 on the ground (Average 42.2 points per contest).  The Giants come into Friday nights game averaging 326 yards in total offensive yards per game, 69.4 passing, and 256.6 rushing (Average 17.9 points per contest).  Defensively both clubs will be ready to go,  Mooresville is averaging 83.3 tackles a game with Marion making an average of 49.6 a contest.  The Pioneers and Giants will have one final opportunity on Thursday to fine tune the game plan before Fridays 7pm kickoff  at Marion High School with the winner earing a chance to play for a Semi State Championship on Friday November 16th.
