Athlete of the Week – Co-ed Unified Flag Football – Isaac Scott, Junior

Isaac had an amazing sack on Saturday late in the first half against Ben Davis. He also kept pressure on the QB the entire game.  Isaac is such a positive role model on and off the field, you will find him clapping and cheering for every single player on the field after each play. Isaac makes sure that each teammate or opponent knows they are working hard and doing well.  His tenacity on and off the field is what set him apart from others. Isaac is a light in his teammates lives! When Isaac isn’t on the football field you can find him on the basketball court playing for Special Olympics or in the Champions Together Game. He is also a member of Best Buddies, Unified Bowling and the Unified Track and Field team.

Athlete of the Week – Boys Tennis – Logan Prather and Caden Bradley, Seniors

Logan and Caden finished their tennis season last week in the sectionals at Brownsburg.   This year they finished with a 16-5 record at #1 doubles.  In their career, then won conference championships at #1 doubles in 2019 and #2 doubles in 2018.   This year they finished third at the conference tournament.   Over their tennis careers, Logan has won 60 matches and Caden has won 61 matches for Mooresville.   That places Caden in first place in wins for MHS boys tennis and Logan in second place in wins over the last twenty plus years.  Both Logan and Caden are team captains and did an excellent job leading the team.
