The Fall Sports Season has officially started! Today is the first day that all of the fall sports can practice. The following groups will be practicing today. Boys Tennis: 3:30-5:30pm Boys Soccer: 4:30-6:30pm Girls Soccer: 3:00pm in Coach McAdams Room at HS Cross Country: 6:55 – 9:00am at Pioneer Park (Tuesday – after school) Girls Golf: 3-4:30pm
The MHS Competition Cheerleaders performed at their last county fair of the season on Friday, July 25 at the Morgan County Fair Competition in Martinsville. Senior Madison McGuire was named Morgan County’s Outstanding Senior and received a $500 college scholarship.
The 2014-15 school year and athletic season will be starting very quickly. We are looking forward to having a great year. This article is the first “MHS Sports Report.” We plan on posting a new article each Monday that will recap the week before and highlight the week ahead. Please look for this each Monday.

Molly Fitzpatrick signed this afternoon with Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana to play on the Women’s Tennis Team. Molly will be starting her senior year in a couple of weeks and already has her college plans decided. Congratulations, Molly!!
Athletic Director, Zach Errett was awarded the Phil Portuese award at the USA Wrestling’s Cadet & Junior Nationals in North Dakota. The Phil Potuese award recognizes the winner for their work in the mentoring of USA Olympic style officials.
