The boys team once again had a depleted roster but managed to come within just 16 points of winning the whole invitational. There were outstanding individual performances and the relay teams were fantastic. Trey Addair broke his own record and lowered the school record down to 57.27 in the 100 Fly. Evan Wilson won the 500 free with a time of 5:15.46 which is just one second off the school record of 5:14.57 set back in 2011. Clark Wilson swam a personal best in the 100 Fly and Devon Theriac was right at his personal best in the 100 breast. Andrew Crawford dropped 3 seconds for a personal best in the 100 back. Roger Phillips and Devin Berryman won 1st and 2nd in diving. This invitational is a great precursor to the Mid State Conference on Jan 3rd and Jan 5th. The Pioneers are looking good going into the prelims next Thursday and will make a strong showing in the finals on Saturday.
