Boys Varsity Swimming finishes 6th in the Mid-State Conference. The boys started the night with a big finish in the 200 Medley Relay jumping up a few seeds to finish 3rd. Trey Addair, Devon Theriac, Keegan Jones, and Evan Wilson started the day with a great performance swimming back, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle. Aiden Langly was next in the 200 Freestyle where he dropped 7.94 seconds for a personal record. In a blazing fast 50 the Free event, Evan Wilson took 4th just .15 behind the second-place finisher. Tyler Gercak also swam the 50 Free dropping .48 for a personal record. Trey Addair had a strong swim in the 100 Butterfly to take 5th place. Evan Wilson was back in the water for the 100 Free taking 3rd place and just .05 from breaking the school record. Keegan Jones also swam a personal best and brought home more points with a 7th place finish. Senior Jacob Wheele dropped 17.54 seconds to shatter his previous personal best in the 500 Free. The Pioneer boys then showed just how fast there were in the 200 Free Relay. Not only did Devon Theriac, Keegan Jones, Evan Wilson, and Trey Addair take 3rd is a very exciting relay they set a new high school record in the process. In the 100 Back, Drew Crawford dropped 3.75 seconds for a new personal record.
