In the only Double Dual meet of the year, the Pioneer girls dominated by winning twice. The meet was against Martinsville and Edgewood. The girls separately battled Martinsville and Edgewood instead of a three-way point total. At the end of the evening, it was the Pioneer girls finishing ahead of both teams. The girls kicked off the meet winning the 200 Medley Relay with the team consisting of Isabelle Deverick, Maria Jimenez, Ayris Mitchell, and Cora Winegarden. Cora ‘Joker’ Winegarden continued to dominate the 50 free winning the event with Senior Emily Bombei taking third. Ayris Mitchell and Athlete of the Week Jayla Smith, kept the points rolling in by taking 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 100 Butterfly. Cora Winegarden then was back in the water to take 1st in the 100 Free with Mikayla Alexander winning 2nd. Emily Bombei, Isabelle Deverick, Mikaylah Alexander and Cora Winegarden then sprinted to an easy 1sr finish in the 200 free relay. Ayris Mitchell and Morgan Pierson went 1st and 2nd in the 100 Backstroke. Then Maria JImenez and Isabelle Deverick did the same taking 1st and 2nd place in the 100 Breaststoke. Emily Bombei, Maria Jimenez, Ayris Mitchell and Mikaylah Alexander then finished the meet winning the 400 Freestyle Relay by over 9 seconds.
Not to be outdone, the girl divers were on point and handily swept the diving. Sadie Mills won 1st place with Kylie Strietelmeier winning 2nd place nearly 100 points in front of 3rd place.
