The Mooresville Pioneers closed out the 2020 regular season with a 51-27 home win over the Perry Meridian Falcons. With the win the Pioneers finished with an 8-1 record highlighted by a 6-1 conference mark and a Mid State Conference Championship.

Mooresville scored on their first two posessions of the game to open up a 14 point lead in the first quarter. The Pioneers would score three more times in the second quarter to go up 31-0. Perry Meridan would find the endzone on a 1 yard run (PAT Failed) but Mooresville would answer to take a 38-6 lead into the half. Perry would strike first in the second half but Mooresville answered and maintained their lead through three quarters, 45-13. The Falcons would score twice in the fourth, the Pioneers would tack on one final score to close out the 2020 regular season with a 51-27 win.

The Pioneers would like to thank the parents, families, students, and fans as well as the Mooresville High School Administration for the support.
