Mooresville’s fortunes looked as if they were turning in their favor when Hayden Vaughan recovered a Swigert onside kick giving the ball back to the Pioneers on their own 44 down 10. After moving the ball to the DC territory the Pioners faced 4th and 5 and were unable to convert, turning the ball over to the Hawks on the DC 38. The Hawks faced a 2nd and 11 when K.
