Mooresville Falls to Carmel, Looks Ahead to Roncalli on Wednesday

The Mooresville Pioneers took on a strong Carmel team on Monday night, coming up short 42–13, but continued to see steady effort and contributions across the roster. Skylah Boyden led Mooresville with 6 points, showing solid play on both ends of the floor. Sophia Brown added 3 points, while Mia Laws scored 2 points, and Eastyn Deemer and Mare Simpson each added 1 point. Ivy Land, Bridget DeFur, Liv Culver, Jazmine Hunt, and Lala Montgomery all provided important minutes, bringing hustle and teamwork throughout the game. Carmel set the pace early, taking an 18–5 lead after the first quarter. Mooresville added 2 points in both the second and third quarters and 4 in the fourth, continuing to compete and show resilience as the game progressed. The Pioneers now shift their attention to their next matchup. Mooresville will be back on their home court Wednesday at 6:00 PM, taking on Roncalli. The team looks forward to another opportunity to build momentum in front of their home crowd.
