The Mooresville Pioneers captured their first conference win of the season on Friday night, defeating Martinsville 60–51 in a matchup defined by energy, execution, and balanced scoring. From the opening tip, Mooresville controlled the pace, building early momentum that carried them through all four quarters. Mooresville set the tone in the first period with a dominant 16–5 start, fueled by aggressive defense and efficient finishing at the rim.
