The Mooresville squad turned in a well-rounded effort, showcasing scoring depth, defensive intensity, and relentless energy across the board. From start to finish, the team played with confidence and focus, with multiple athletes stepping up to make an impact. Lady Pioneers won 39-18. Eastyn Deemer set the tone early, knocking down 4 points and going a perfect 2-for-2 at the free-throw line, providing steady production when the team needed it. Ivy Land added 2 points, helping keep Mooresville’s offense moving. Skylah Boyden delivered one of her strongest performances of the season, pouring in 11 points and consistently finding ways to create scoring opportunities. Right alongside her was Sophia Brown, who added a solid 9 points, knocking down shots in key moments to keep Mooresville rolling. Bridget DeFur gave the team another boost with 7 points, including an impressive 3-of-4 from the free-throw line to cap off her efficient night. Mare Simpson chipped in 2 points, while Jazmine Hunt sparked the offense with 4 points, adding extra momentum off the bench. Defensively, Mooresville was anchored by the outstanding effort of Mia Laws, whose pressure and on-ball toughness made a noticeable difference.
