Mooresville Battles Brownsburg in 39–26 Loss

Mooresville showed effort and determination but fell to Brownsburg, 39–26, after Brownsburg pulled away in the second half. The game stayed close early, with Brownsburg holding an 8–7 edge after the first quarter and a 20–14 lead at halftime. Mooresville continued to compete, scoring seven points in each of the first three quarters, but Brownsburg’s third-quarter surge created separation. Eastyn Deemer led Mooresville with 8 points, while Skylah Boyden added 6 points. Bridget DeFur contributed 6 points, and Mare Simpson scored 4 points. Sophia Brown rounded out the scoring with 2 points. Mooresville’s defense remained a highlight, as Ivy Land and Mia Law recorded multiple defensive stops. Jazmine Hunt also made several strong defensive plays, and Lala Montgomery added a key defensive stop. Liv Culver provided great support and energy from the bench. Despite the loss, Mooresville displayed strong teamwork and defensive effort that will serve as positives moving forward.
