Pioneers Show Grit and Growth Against Decatur Central

Mooresville Varsity showed resilience, effort, and growth in its matchup against Decatur Central, continuing to build momentum as the season progresses. The Pioneers battled through all four quarters, finishing strong with a 16-point fourth quarter to cap the night. Despite facing a deep and aggressive Decatur Central squad, Mooresville never stopped competing and continued to find opportunities on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Halle Moore led the way with an impressive 16-point performance, consistently attacking the basket and converting at the free-throw line. K.J. Barton added 8 points, including a key three-pointer, while Niah Craig contributed 7 points with strong finishes inside. Mooresville also saw scoring contributions from Kendal Price 4 points, Makenzie Holtzclaw 3 points, and Kenzie Garrett 4 points, highlighting a balanced team effort.
