The Lady Pioneers travelled to Jeffersonville as 3 time defending champ at the Jeff Classic. They emerged as champions again, defeating the field (21 teams) by a very healthy 68.5 points. The Lady Pioneers sent 14 wrestler and all 14 ended up on the podium. The Lady Pioneers were lead by 3 champions (Kaydie Epley, Khloe Weber, and Anna Sipos), 3 runners up (Leyah Johnson, Cadence Williams, and Alibell Coughlan), 1 3rd placer (Bridget Martin), 1 4th placer (Jenice Jackson), 1 5th placer (Mattingly Hutchison), 3 7th placers (Brienna Barnes, Brooke Gibbs, and Lillie Engstrom, and 2 8th placers (Tinsley Ashman and Avery Boes). Brienna Barnes, Tinsley Ashman, Lillie Engstrom, and Avery Boes all notched their first varsity wins. Tha Lady Pioneers will be back in action on Tuesday at West Vigo for a duals tournament with Sectionals soon after.
