Mooresville continued to build momentum in the second quarter, adding 11 points to take a comfortable lead into halftime. Highland responded in the second half, but Mooresville stayed composed. The Pioneers scored 14 points in the third quarter, matching Highland’s intensity and keeping control of the game heading into the final period. In the fourth quarter, Highland made a strong push with 22 points, turning the game into a nail-biter, but Mooresville’s early lead and clutch execution proved to be the difference. Halle Moore led all scorers with a standout performance, finishing with 20 points.
