The Mooresville Pioneers turned a busy double dual meet into a showcase of depth, balance, and competitive maturity, sweeping both opponents with authority. Mooresville overwhelmed Decatur Central 121–37 and controlled Ben Davis 108–60, completing a decisive moring that reinforced the program’s upward trajectory. Ben Davis later defeated Decatur Central 96–62. From the opening horn to the final relay, Mooresville’s advantage was clear: multiple event winners, heavy scoring across the lineup, and meaningful contributions from every class. Mooresville wasted no time establishing momentum. The 200-yard Medley Relay of Diesel Molin, Abram Haack, Brady Aker, and Chuck Dixon captured 1st place in 2:03.33, immediately setting the tone for the meet. That early relay success reflected a theme that would repeat all afternoon — strong starts, clean execution, and relentless pressure. The Pioneers followed with a dominant showing in the 200-yard Freestyle, led by senior captain Daniel Enkhorn, who took the win in 2:00.03. Right behind him, junior Brady Aker delivered one of the day’s most impressive improvement swims, dropping 10.75 seconds to place 2nd in 2:04.70. Senior leadership played a decisive role throughout the meet, none more so than Diesel Molin, who controlled multiple events. Molin won the 200-yard Individual Medley (2:07.80) and later the 100-yard Breaststroke (1:08.78), anchoring Mooresville’s point totals with consistency and composure. His presence was felt not just in individual wins, but in the confidence and pace he set for the entire lineup. That leadership extended into the sprints, where junior Grant Fox captured the 50-yard Freestyle in 23.76, followed closely by Ethan Wondolkowski in 2nd. Fox later added another event win in the 100-yard Backstroke (1:04.47), reinforcing Mooresville’s dominance in the speed events. another encouraging storyline of the meet was the continued emergence of Mooresville’s underclassmen. In the 100-yard Freestyle, freshmen Chuck Cook and Chuck Dixon delivered a headline moment, tying for 1st place at 59.60 in a thrilling finish. Fellow freshman Issac Enkhorn also contributed with a lifetime best in the same event. Distance events told a similar story. Brady Aker continued his strong day in the 500-yard Freestyle, finishing 2nd while dropping 10.81 seconds, and Chuck Cook posted one of the largest drops of the meet, cutting 20.31 seconds from his lifetime best. Relays once again proved to be a major strength for the Pioneers. The 200-yard Freestyle Relay of Jacob Gainey, Grant Fox, Diesel Molin, and Daniel Enkhorn surged to victory in 1:34.23, while Mooresville’s second relay Ethan Wondolkowski, Chuck Dixon, Abram Haack, and John Patterson placed 3rd to maximize points. The meet closed with authority in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay, where Fox, Gainey, Enkhorn, and Aker claimed 1st place in 3:36.90. A 2nd Mooresville relay Chuck Dixon, John Patterson, Ethan Wondolkowski, and Chuck Cook followed in 3rd, capping a meet that featured scoring in nearly every event. The double dual sweep was not built on one or two standout performances, but on depth across all four classes, disciplined racing, and a clear sense of identity. Veterans led, underclassmen delivered, and relays thrived — a formula that continues to define Mooresville’s success. With commanding wins over both Decatur Central and Ben Davis, the Pioneers sent a clear message: this is a team built not just to win dual meets, but to carry momentum deep into championship season.
