The Mooresville Pioneers battled the elements Saturday night as they traveled to Greencastle to take on the Tiger Cubs, turning in a strong all-around performance to earn a road victory. Mooresville set the tone early with disciplined execution on both ends of the floor. The Pioneers won the opening quarter by five and carried a seven-point advantage into halftime. Offensively, Mooresville played with great pace and unselfishness, consistently moving the ball to create open looks and knocking down shots. Defensively, the Pioneers made every possession difficult, forcing the Tiger Cubs to work for their scoring opportunities. The Pioneers stayed in control after the break, continuing to dictate tempo and momentum. Mooresville outscored Greencastle in the second half by five and stretched the lead into double digits midway through the fourth quarter, sealing the win. Mooresville finished with three players in double figures, while Greencastle had two reach double digits. The Pioneers return to action Friday night as they travel to Whiteland for a showdown with the Warriors.
