Mooresville Athletics

The Pioneers opened their season bright and early Saturday, taking a program record 4th in Tournament play. They shook the rust off in their opening match against Christel House (who would play for 1st), taking their 1st loss of the day 1-2 sets. After a break, they dug deep and pulled off a 2 set victory over Terre Haute North to take 2nd in their pool and play Avon for the 3rd place match. The Pioneers fought hard, taking the 2nd set to force the tiebreaker, but came up just short, securing them 4th overall. With strong all around play, the Pioneers look to have a great season!
