Mooresville Pioneers Baseball Saturday Game One Varsity Final Mooresville Pioneers- 6 Gibson Southern Titans- 1 The Mooresville Pioneers Varsity Baseball team traveld to Evansville North High School on Saturday to participate in a three team round robin. The Moorrsville Pioneers defeated the Gibson Southern Titans by the score of 6-1 in game one. With the win the Pioneers improved to 13-4 on the season and are currently 7-3 in the Mid State Conference. Kooper Schmitt got the start on the mound for Mooresville, Schmitt went six innings, allowed three hits, one earned run, walked five, and struck out seven to register the win. Adam Biddle entered the game in the seventh, Biddle allowed one hit, no runs, walked one, and struck out two to collect the save. The offense was paced by Tyler Denny (2B-HR) and Archer Query (2 Singles) who had two hits apiece, Denny hit his third homerun of the 2026 season in the win. The remaining four hits were collected by Nate Daley (Single), Kooper Schmitt (Double), Connor Cruz (Single), and Levi Welty (Double).
