Mooresville Pioneers Varsity Baseball Senior Day Game One Final Moorrsville Pioneers- 11 Lebanon Tigers- 1 The Mooresville Pioneers Baseball Program along with Mooresville High School honored the Class of 2026 on Saturday with it's annual "Senior Day". The Class of 2026 (Nate Daley, Kiernan Herald, Connor Cruz, Grant Martin, Adam Biddle, Jared Kempf, Tyler Denny, Hudson DeVaughan, Archer Query, DJ Enkhorn, and Spencer Boisvert) along with their parents were honored in pre game festivities before game one of the Saturday double header. Senior Tyler Denny was selected as the 2026 recipiant of the "Wesley Neff Scholarsip" which honors the memory of Wesley Neff (Class of 1995) who played at Mooresville High School and was a 1995 South All Star selection. The Pioneers starting lineup was made up of nine seniors who were able to capture their 17th win of the season, defeating the visiting Lebanon Tigers 11-1 in six innings. With the the win, Mooresville improves to 17-7 on the year (10-4) with three regular season games to play. Mooresville handed the ball to senior left hander Jared Kempf who started on the mound for the Pioneers. Kempf went the full six innings allowing 2 hits, 1 earned run, walked 2, and struck out 7 to collect the win. The Pioneers offense was led by seniors Tyler Denny and Adam Biddle who hit two homeruns apiece in the win. Mooresville finished the game with 11 hits highlighted by doubles hit by Kiernan Herald, DJ Enkhorn, Connor Cruz, and Tyler Denny. Grant Martin and Brody McGaha added three hits to round out the Pioneers offensive day. Mooresville will cap off Senior Day with a 12:30pm contest with Terre Haute South.
