Mooresville Pioneers Baseball Senior Day Game Two Final Mooresville Pioneers- 6 Terre Haute South Braves- 4 The Mooresville Pioneers welcomed the Terre Haute Braves for game two of their Senior Day double header which was scheduled for 12:30pm. Mooresville got down early, 1-0 but were able to plate six runs and secure their 18th win of the season, 6-4. With the win the Pioneers finish out the week 18-4 (10-4 MSC) with two regular season games remaining. Freshman Levi Welty started on the mound for Mooresville, Welty threw 5 innings allowing 5 hits, 2 earned runs, walked 4, and struck out 1 to earn the win. Welty was relieved by Tyler Denny in the sixth inning, Denny threw the 2 innings allowing 2 hits, 2 earned runs, walked 1, and struck out 1 to register the save. The Pioneers offense had 10 hits in the win led by Brody McGaha, Adam Biddle, and Caden Lee who accounted for 6 of Mooresville's 10 hits. Nate Daley, Kooper Schmitt, Levi Welty, and Archer Query had a hit apiece in the win. The Mooresville Pioneers will wrap up the rgular season on Tuesday May 27th and will host Scecina Memorial for a two game set starting at 5:00pm.
