Mooresville Girl's Golf wins their Home Opener

The Mooresville Lady Pioneers golf team finally got their first home match of the year in tonight at a still soggy Heartland Crossing Golf Course. Despite all the recent rain, Heartland was in good condition and able to host the match between Mooresville and Indian Creek. The Lady Pioneers played like it was their home course and shot a season best 174 to win the duel meet tonight as Indian Creek shot a 221. Leading the way tonight for Mooresville was Julianna Bell who carded a season best 40, Elizabeth Tiley also shot her season best of 42, Sophomores Karleigh Reese and Kallie Arthur shot matching 46's. That 46 was Kallie's personal best round. Emily West played and shot 49, and Bri Addair shot 51 to round out the Pioneer scoring. Mooresville will be back in action Saturday at Heartland Crossing once again as the Host the Pioneer Invite starting at 9am.
