Varsity vs Greenwood High School (2 - 3) Loss Varsity vs Franklin Community (1 - 4) Loss Varsity vs. Greenfield-Central (0 -5) Loss The MHS Boys tennis team competed yesterday in the Franklin Invitational. It was an extremely long day but one that was a good early test for our team. We needed the experience of playing three matches in one day. In each match, we had different parts of the team play extremely well. We had wins from Sam Mommertz, Baylor Query, Ben Coffey and Grayson Furniss. We were also able to pull out some close tie-break sets which will help us later in the season. The varsity's overall record fell to 1-3 after the weekend. The tennis team is next in action on Monday, August 24th when they makeup a previously postponed match with Brownsburg. The match will start at 5:30 pm at the MHS courts.
