MHS Tennis falls to Brownsburg in non-conference match.

The MHS boys tennis team hosted Brownsburg on Monday and lost at both the varsity and the JV matches. The varsity lost 0-5 while the JV lost 0-3. Varsity scores: #1 singles - Sam Mommertz lost by a score of 4-6, 7-5, 3-6, #2 singles - Baylor Query lost 3-6, -16., #3 singles - Wesley Hoffman lost 1-6, 2-6, #1 doubles - Ben Coffey and Grayson Furniss lost 0-6, 0-6 and at #2 doubles - Max Springsteen and Traejen Asher lost 1-6, 0-6. JV scores - Abram Haack and Eli Brown lost 0-6, 0-6 at singles and Xavier Browning and Mason Galyan lost 0-6, 0-6 at doubles. The tennis team fell to 1-4 overall while the JV fell to 1-2. MHS is next in action, today, August 25th when we host Decatur Central for an important Mid-State matchup at 5 pm.
