Mooresville controlled much of the first half with a steady barrage of attacks but couldn’t quite find the back of the net. The pressure continued after halftime, and the breakthrough finally came on a set piece from Bagaya Bienvenu, who delivered a well‑placed ball into the box that Onyx Molin headed home. The Pioneers held off Danville’s push as long as they could, but a foul just outside the box gave the Warriors a dangerous set piece. Danville capitalized, converting the free kick to level the match at 1–1.
