Mooresville Girls golf loses to Martinsville Tonight

On easily that hottest night of the girls golf season to date, the Mooresville Pioneers and Martinsville Artesians battled each other, Foxcliff Golf Course, and the heat. When it was all said and done, Martinsville won the mid-state battle by a score of 173 to 185. For the Pioneers Julianna Bell and Elizabeth Tiley followed up their outstanding play over the weekend with matching 42's to finish tied for 2nd. Kallie Arthur shot a 50, Emily West shot a 51, Karleigh Reese shot 53, and Bri Addair shot 56 to round out the Pioneer scoring. The Pioneers are back in action Thursday at 8am at Deer Creek for the Mid-State conference tournament.
