Mooresville and Avon Battle at Heartland Crossing

On a cloudy and at times rainy afternoon at Heartland Crossing Golf Course, Mooresville and Avon battled each other in a late season dual meet. When the sores were tallied the Pioneers secured a victory with a team score of 174. Avon came in with a team score of 201. Julianna Bell and Elizabeth Tiley led Mooresville with matching 41's. Emily West carded a 45, Kallie Arthur shot a 47, and Bri Addair shot a 48 to round out the Pioneer scoring. The Pioneers are back in action Saturday as they head to their sectional site West Chase Golf Course to compete in the Bulldog Shootout hosted by Brownsburg.
