Mooresville Athletics

On the final Saturday of the Girl's golf regular season Mooresville traveled to West Chase golf club, site of their sectional tournament to be played on Friday Sept. 18th. A host of schools that will play in that sectional plus some other schools gathered on what started as a very wet, damp, and at times drizzly morning that turned into a nice afternoon for one last regular season Saturday Invitational. When it was all said and done, the host school, Brownsburg, won the title with a team score of 300. The girl's from Mooresville finished with a very solid team score of 353 to finish 7th out of the 13 teams. Senior Julianna Bell led the Pioneers with an 83 placing her just out side the top 10. Junior's Elizabeth Tiley and Emily West helped the Pioneer attack with matching 88's. That score was a new 18 hole personal best for West. Senior Bri Addair shot 94, and Kallie Arthur rounded out the Pioneers scoring with a 102. Mooresville will be back in action Monday Sept. 14th at Heartland Crossing where they will take on Danville on Senior night for Julianna and Bri.
