Mooresville’s Unified Flag Football team put together a gritty, high‑energy performance in a narrow 50–44 loss to Lawrence Central, a game that swung back and forth all night. After falling behind by two scores, Mooresville clawed their way back with touchdowns from multiple playmakers, each drive building momentum and belief. Coming out of halftime, the defense delivered a huge stand that completely shifted the tone of the game, giving the offense the spark it needed to surge back into contention and turn the matchup into a thriller.In the final minutes, Mooresville’s determination paid off as they battled all the way into the lead with only seconds remaining. It felt like the comeback was complete — until Lawrence Central made a spectacular, last‑second play to steal the win. Tough way to lose, but the effort, resilience, and teamwork were undeniable.
