The Mooresville varsity girls basketball team dropped a 40-25 decision to Bishop Chatard on Saturday. Niah Craig led the Lady Pioneers with 8 points. KJ Barton added 5, while Millie Allison and Esther Brimmage each chipped in 4. Madi Phillips contributed 3 points, and Kendal Price rounded out the scoring with 1. Mooresville spread its scoring across six players, but the Lady Pioneers couldn’t generate enough offense to keep pace with the Trojans. Bishop Chatard’s defense held Mooresville to 25 points. The Lady Pioneers will look to regroup and build on the effort in their next outing.
