Mooresville High School Athletic Department Pendill Wealth Management Athletes of the Week May 12th – May 17th The Mooresville High School Athletic Department is pleased to announce the Pendill Wealth Management Athletes of the Week Award for the week of May 12th – May 17th. The award will be given to one female and one male student-athletes who displayed athletic excellence in all areas of competition during the previous week of athletic contests. Pendill Wealth Management is proud to recognize student athletes for their athletic achievements each week while supporting the Mooresville Athletic Department. The Mooresville Athletic Department is honored to partner with BJ Pendill to recognize the Mooresville High School student athlete of the week. Athlete of the Week – Track and Field – Kaydence Epley, Sophomore Mooresville High School is proud to recognize Kaydence Epley of the Girls Track & Field team as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Kaydence delivered a standout performance at the Morgan County Track Meet, showcasing her speed, strength, and determination. Kaydence claimed 1st place in both hurdle events, winning the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.83 and the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 50.15. Her dominance in these demanding events helped set the tone for the Pioneers and demonstrated her hard work and focus throughout the season. Athlete of the Week – Boys Golf – Elijah Lynn, Senior Mooresville High School is proud to recognize senior Elijah Lynn of the Boys Golf team as this week’s Athlete of the Week. As the 2025 season winds down, Elijah is hitting his stride and rounding out his high school golf career with impressive performances. Elijah has been the low medalist three times this season, showcasing consistency and leadership on the course. Most recently, he fired his best 18-hole round of the year, shooting a 79 at the Mooresville Invitational—a strong showing in a competitive field. With all aspects of his game sharpening at just the right time, Elijah is focused on finishing his senior season on a high note.
