As the Girl's golf season comes to a close, most teams are celebrating their seniors. Mooresville celebrated their lone senior Addison Farley on Tuesday, and tonight at Prestwick Avon celebrated their seniors. Avon decided to have some fun and play a different format then the normal match style. During the match each team played 3 teams of 2 person scrambles. When the girls were done Avon edged out Mooresville by just 4 shots 118-122. Mooresville's team of Addison Farley and Karleigh Reese led the Pioneers with a 37. Julianna Bell and Bri Addair shot a 40, and Emily West and Kallie Arthur rounded out Mooresville's scoring with a 45. The Pioneers are back in action Saturday as the play in the Bulldog Invitational at West Chase golf course.
