The MHS boys tennis team hosted Greencastle this afternoon and came away with a 4-1 varsity win and a 2-1 victory at the JV level. For the varsity: #1 Singles: Archer Query won 6-2, 6-4 #2 Singles: Baylor Query won 6-4, 6-3 #3 Singles: Jared Kemp fell 6-0, 5-7, 12-14 #1 Doubles: Brady McNally / Kolten Wilson won 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 #2 Doubles: DJ Enkhorn / Grayson Furniss won 6-3, 6-4 For the JV: Singles: Ben Coffey lost 3-8 Doubles: Grant Fox / Gavin Cooper won 8-4 Doubles: Ben Klopfenstein / Traejen Asher won 8-5 With the wins, the varsity improves to 9-6 on the season, while the JV moves to 6-7 overall. The Pioneers return to action tomorrow, Wednesday, September 17, when they travel to Danville for a 5:30 p.m. non-conference matchup.
