For Mooresville, Archer Query earned a 6-1, 6-3 win at #1 singles. At #2 singles, Baylor Query followed with a steady 6-4, 6-4 win, while Jared Kempf dominated at #3 singles with a 6-0, 6-2 victory. The championship-clinching point came from Kolten Wilson and DJ Enkhorn, who secured a 6-2, 6-3 win at #1 doubles. At #2 doubles, Ben Coffey and Grayson Furniss competed well but fell 3-6, 3-6. With the win, Mooresville improves to 13-11 on the season—tying last year’s team for the most victories in a single season over the past 25 years. The Pioneers advance to the IHSAA Regional at Brownsburg High School on Tuesday, October 7th at 5:00 pm. Their opponent will be determined later this week. The team extends its gratitude to fans and the MHS administration for their continued support throughout the season.
