Friday Night Lights Week 7 "Senior Night" Final Mooresville Pioneers- 14 Whiteland Warriors- 35 Friday night was Senior Night as the Mooresville Pioneers Football Program and Mooresville High School celebrated the class of 2026, recognizing the Seniors contributions to the Mooresville Pioneers over the last four seasons. The visiting Whiteland Warriors jumped out to a 21-7 first quarter lead on three Mooresville Pioneer turnovers. The Warriors would add two more scores in the second quarter to take a 35-7 lead into the half. Mooresville would add a touchdown late in the fourth quarter as the Pioneers defense would hold Whiteland scoreless in the second half but it would not be enough as the Warriors would get the week seven win, 35-14. With the loss Mooresville drops 3-4 on the season and are currently 1-4 in the Mid State Conference. With the win the Warriors improve to 5-2 on the season and are 3-1 in the Mid State Conference which is good for third place in the MSC standings. The Mooresville Pioneers are back in action on Friday October 10, 2025 as they travel to Martinsville to take on the Artesian in the "Battle of the M", kickoff scheduled for 7:00pm.
